Job summary

Sigil Partners is seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing Operations based in San Jose, CA to lead a complex semiconductor capital equipment assembly, integration, test and delivery organization with accountability for on-time shipments and product quality.

Qualifications

12+ years in manufacturing or operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in semiconductor capital equipment.
Proven track record of on-time shipments and manufacturing quality in a high-mix environment.
Strong financial acumen including budgeting, labor costs, overhead, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing operations across sub-assembly, system assembly, integration, and final test.
Own manufacturing performance including on-time shipments, product quality, and production schedules.
Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with objectives and growth.
Identify bottlenecks and resource constraints to maintain output.
Drive performance metrics and structured problem solving with decisive leadership.
Ensure capacity, staffing, and resources align with demand.
Manage budgets, resource plans, and production costs.
Present performance and risks to senior leadership.
