Job summary

SiMa.ai in San Jose, CA seeks a Director, Supply Chain & Manufacturing Operations to own end-to-end hardware supply, from demand planning through EMS/ODM engagement, fulfillment, and sustaining operations. You will build and lead the team within Operations, partnering with Engineering, HW, Product, and Finance to deliver products on time, at target cost, and with the right quality while managing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field with 10–15+ years in hardware supply chain/ops.
• Experience leading CM/EMS/ODM production and cross-functional alignment.
• Strong BOM/AVL/ECO knowledge with LTAs and NCNR.
• Proven demand/supply planning in low-volume, high-mix environments.
• ERP/MRP implementation experience (NetSuite, Fishbowl).
• Data-driven with advanced Excel/Sheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the supply chain and manufacturing operations team with KPIs.
• Own S&OP demand-supply planning and capacity alignment.
• Manage end-to-end material lifecycle and supplier relations.
• Lead EMS/ODM engagement, NPI transfer, and capacity reviews.
• Ensure ERP/MRP governance, BOM accuracy, and inventory control.
• Track COGS, PPV, and inventory turns; advise on multi-quarter buys.
• Drive ISO/QMS discipline with Quality.
• Travel up to 20% to EMS/ODM sites.
