Job summary

Sanmina Corporation seeks a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing operations, engineering, quality and planning across North America. You will drive complex customer transfers, root-cause analysis, and program deployment with plant leadership.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing management, strong lean expertise, and proven P&L and cross-functional leadership. Attractive compensation, benefits, and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering is required or preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering or management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience.
• Knowledge of lean principles; Green/Black belt a plus.
• Experience leading diverse teams and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operations function including production engineering, manufacturing process, quality, and planning.
• Handle complex projects such as customer transfers, including supply chain, qualification, testing and scheduling.
• Identify and address root causes affecting throughput and yield.
• Deploy and track new programs with North American plant leadership on processes, resources and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure material flow, inventory levels and cost control; coordinate with finance on carrying costs.
