Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline required.
• 15+ years in business development, program management, or systems engineering in aerospace.
• Deep knowledge of government acquisition processes and national security landscape.
• Proven track record of securing large contracts (>$20M) and managing strategic relationships.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead satellite solutions BD initiatives for defense applications.
• Develop capture strategies for government contracts and prime relationships.
• Engage stakeholders to align Rocket Lab solutions with needs.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals for new business.
• Monitor industry trends to adapt BD strategies.
• Grow opportunities with existing customers and create new ones.
• Lead proposal activities including technical, management, cost, and schedule content.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders for alignment.
• Represent Rocket Lab at conferences and customer meetings.
