Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 15+ years in business development, program management, or systems engineering within aerospace.
• Deep knowledge of government acquisition processes and national security.
• Proven track record securing large contracts (> $20M).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead satellite defense business development initiatives.
• Develop and execute capture strategies for large defense/civil space contracts.
• Engage with key customer stakeholders to align Rocket Lab’s solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare compelling proposals.
• Monitor industry trends to inform and adapt business development strategies.
• Grow opportunities with existing customers and develop new opportunities.
