Deriva Energy seeks a Director of Origination in Charlotte, NC to lead the sourcing and structuring of renewable energy transactions across defined US regions. You will drive deal execution, build partnerships with utilities and large-load buyers, and guide cross-functional teams through bids and definitive agreements.

The role requires extensive experience in power origination, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex deal pipelines in a fast-paced market.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
8+ years of energy industry experience.
Experience in power origination and PPAs.
Ability to lead cross-functional deal teams.

Responsibilities

Lead origination strategy and deal execution in defined US regions.
Originate, structure, and negotiate PPAs with utilities and large buyers.
Build and manage deal pipeline and bid materials.
Collaborate with EPC, analytics, legal, and finance teams.
