Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a Director of Renewable Energy Origination to lead the development of commercial strategies for our North American Power and Renewables portfolio. You will secure off-take agreements, build customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities while guiding internal teams and senior leadership presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive business experience, including 10 years in energy and 5 years leading renewables or related transactions.
• Proven success negotiating and managing PPAs and other revenue-generating transactions.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the renewable energy origination strategy, directing a team to identify and secure commercial opportunities.
• Develop and execute multi-regional origination strategies aligned with decarbonization and growth plans.
• Lead negotiations and execution of PPAs, REC transactions, and other contracts.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with utilities, cooperatives, and corporate buyers.
• Provide market intelligence and support business development and project development strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to advance opportunities and ensure risk compliance.
