Job summary
Vivmark Residential seeks a strategic Senior Director of Development to lead sourcing, planning, entitlement and execution of multifamily and mixed-use projects from pursuit through stabilization.
You will manage a portfolio, lead cross-functional teams, build relationships with municipalities and stakeholders, and present investment recommendations to senior leadership.
The role requires 10+ years in real estate development, a Bachelor's degree, and preferably an MBA or related advanced degree.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of real estate development experience.
- Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, or large-scale commercial development.
- Strong financial modeling and investment analysis skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new development opportunities within target markets.
- Evaluate project feasibility, entitlements, and investment viability.
- Lead planning, entitlement, design, approvals, construction, and stabilization.
- Present investment recommendations to senior leadership and approval committees.
- Build relationships with municipalities, officials, consultants, landowners, and stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Development, Construction, Design, Asset Management and Operations.
- Negotiate with landowners and external partners to advance projects.
- Manage budgets, schedules, consultants, and development risks.
- Represent Vivmark Residential at public meetings and industry events.
