Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. seeks a Director of Project Accounting in the United States. This senior leader will oversee a 10–15 person team across multiple practice groups, guiding contract setup, invoicing, revenue recognition, and project closeout for a diverse portfolio.

The ideal candidate has deep AEC project accounting experience in mid-to-large firms, expert Deltek VantagePoint/Vision skills, and a proven ability to develop and retain a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA/CMA a plus but not required.
• Minimum 8–10 years of project accounting experience in an AEC firm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 10–15 Project Accountants across multiple practice groups.
• Lead contract setup, invoicing, revenue recognition, and closeout processes.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly financial reporting and backlogs.
