Farnsworth Group, Inc. seeks a Director of Project Accounting to oversee project accounting across its architecture, engineering, and surveying practices. A senior leader will manage 10–15 Project Accountants, driving accuracy in billing, revenue recognition, and reporting.

The role requires deep AEC project accounting experience in a mid-to-large firm with >$100M revenue, and expert Deltek VantagePoint/Vision proficiency to lead and develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8–10 years project accounting experience.
• 3–5 years supervisory/management experience.
• Experience at mid-to-large AEC firm with revenue >$100M.
• Expert-level proficiency in Deltek VantagePoint or Deltek Vision.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Familiarity with government/federal contracting billing (FAR) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of 10–15 Project Accountants across practice groups.
• Oversee project setup, invoicing, revenue recognition, and closeout in Deltek.
• Direct monthly revenue recognition and project financial reporting.
• Protect internal controls and improve project accounting workflows.
• Partner with leaders on financial term guidance and contract management.
