Farnsworth Group, Inc. seeks a Director of Project Accounting to lead the project accounting function across architecture, engineering, and surveying practices.

You will manage a 10–15 person team, drive accurate invoicing, revenue recognition, and reporting while partnering with Group Leaders and Project Managers on financial performance. The role requires deep Deltek experience, senior leadership skills, and a track record of improving processes in a fast-paced, multi‑contract environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 8–10 years of project accounting experience in a mid‑to‑large AEC firm
• Proven track record managing a team of 10+ project accountants
• Expert-level proficiency with Deltek VantagePoint or Deltek Vision and strong Excel skills

Aufgaben

• Oversee project accounting operations across all practice groups for the firm
• Lead and develop a 10–15 person Project Accounting team
• Manage contract setup, invoicing, revenue recognition, and closeout processes
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and government billing requirements when applicable
• Provide monthly project financial reporting and identify profitability risks
