Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Director, Assistant General Counsel – Products, Quality and Commercial Operations to provide strategic legal counsel across products, regulatory, quality, and supply chain functions. The role leads significant commercial and regulatory initiatives and supports senior business leaders while mitigating risk.

The anticipated salary is $180,000 - $200,000 with 20% AIP eligibility. Residing in VA or GA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 12+ years of progressively responsible legal experience in healthcare, medical products, manufacturing, distribution, or other regulated businesses.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and advising senior stakeholders.
• Strong judgment, negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal partner for Owens & Minor’s Products business and related functions.
• Provide strategic and practical legal counsel to senior leaders on complex matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret complex commercial agreements.
• Advise on quality, regulatory, product, and supply chain matters.
• Lead cross-functional projects and risk mitigation initiatives.
