Job summary

Owens & Minor, a global healthcare solutions company, is seeking a Category Manager IV to lead complex sourcing and supplier management across indirect procurement categories. You will independently manage senior stakeholder relationships, craft category strategies, lead negotiations, and guide market conditions analysis.

The role may mentor junior professionals and focus on Finance and Consulting Services categories to drive cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; procurement certification preferred.
• 8+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multiyear category strategies for indirect categories.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events including RFP/RFQ, negotiations, and awards.
• Manage supplier relationships and support performance reviews and improvements.
• Drive annual savings targets through sourcing, negotiations, and governance.
