Axon Enterprise is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to drive forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning for a fast-paced, innovative technology company. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, and finance, with exposure to R&D spending and strategic initiatives.

You will partner with executives to influence budgeting, headcount decisions, and performance metrics while modeling new products and optimizing profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial modeling, forecasting and business analytics in a dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of owning projects and driving their completion cross-functionally.
• Experience driving process improvements focused on quality, timeliness and improved efficiency.
• Ability to work independently with attention to quality and deadlines.
• Data analysis and dynamic scenario modeling with emphasis on inputs and assumptions alignment with goals.
• Technology/software/SaaS industry experience.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Apply business and financial acumen to support Operational and Financial decision makers with data, metrics, and process improvements.
• Support Product Roadmap prioritization based on profit contribution and resource constraints.
• Model new product designs and develop business cases based on product-market fit and cost reduction.
• Drive cost reduction, headcount, and budget reviews aligned with company plan and strategy.
• Support the corporate forecasting process for R&D/product spend and present results to leaders.
• Assist in Investment Business Cases for new Products & Strategic initiatives with cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute data, KPIs, and analysis for market and P&L performance of key segments.
