Job summary

Axon is seeking a senior FP&A professional to partner with Product, R&D and corporate teams to drive forecasting, modeling and strategic decision-making. You will lead financial analyses, build business cases for new products and features, and ensure alignment with the company plan and product strategy.

In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate across the finance organization, present to R&D leaders, and support the annual budget process while maintaining rigorous data quality and timely insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting.
• 7+ years of experience in financial modeling, forecasting and business analytics.
• Proven track record of owning projects and driving cross-functional completion.
• Experience driving process improvements for quality, timeliness and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently with strong quality and deadline focus.
• Data analysis and scenario modeling aligned with operational and strategic goals.
• Experience in Technology/SaaS industry; hardware exposure preferred; manufacturing experience.
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication with financial and non-financial leaders.
• Strong attention to detail, planning and organization; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Apply business and financial acumen to support decision makers with data, metrics and operating model alignment.
• Support Product Roadmap prioritization based on profit contribution and resource constraints.
• Model new product designs and develop business cases based on market fit and cost reduction.
• Drive regular cost, headcount and budget reviews aligned to the plan and strategy.
• Support corporate FP&A processes and present results to R&D leaders.
• Assist in Investment Business Cases and cross-functional collaboration with full P&L exposure.
