Job summary

Veolia Water Tech NORAM is seeking a Senior Director of Process Engineering to lead design and development of water, wastewater and biosolid treatment systems. You will build and direct high‑performing teams, set engineering strategy, and ensure solutions are technically rigorous and commercially aligned across markets.

This executive role requires deep knowledge of water treatment technologies, strong people leadership, and the ability to translate market needs into scalable process solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 12+ years progressive experience in process engineering, including substantial experience in water and wastewater treatment.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams, functions, or multidisciplinary technical organizations.
• Deep knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies and their application across multiple industry markets.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align engineering decisions with commercial, operational, and strategic objectives.
• Proven ability to lead through complexity, influence across functions, and drive organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the process engineering function in support of Water Tech NORAM integrated growth objectives.
• Establish engineering priorities, operating models, and capability plans that enable the business to respond effectively and at speed to market opportunities and customer demands.
• Drive the development of scalable, repeatable, and differentiated treatment solutions aligned with targeted industry segments and market needs.
• Serve as a key member of the EPP leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, portfolio decisions, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Build, lead, and develop a best-in-class process engineering organization with strong technical depth, leadership capability, and customer orientation.
