Job summary

The City of New York Department of Social Services (DSS) / HRA invites applications for an Administrative Staff Analyst NM-II to lead policy and procedure development for FIA and related administrations. You will work with senior agency leadership and partner agencies to craft standardized, compliant policies and oversee staff in complex research projects.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree plus 2+ years of supervisory/managerial experience in budget or program administration.
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of professional experience in budget/financial administration or related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Executive Director to set goals and deliverables for the unit and supervise complex research projects.
  • Develop policies and procedures across program areas to support agency mandates and standardize formats.
  • Coordinate with program management, legal staff, and external agencies for policy implementation.
  • Monitor timelines and resolve barriers to timely implementation of agency objectives.
  • Collaborate on forms, pamphlets, posters, and desk aids for policy implementation.
