GE Aerospace in the United States seeks a Director, Infrastructure & Platform to lead a team delivering secure, scalable environments and a gold-path delivery pipeline as a product. You will partner with Cyber Security and product teams to ensure compliant, reliable delivery.

The role emphasizes people leadership, an operating model, roadmaps, SLAs, and removing undifferentiated work through a governed platform. Strong cloud/SRE/DevSecOps background is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years IT/Infrastructure experience.
• Minimum 6 years of Infrastructure & Platform Engineering or IT.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Military experience counts as professional experience.
• Ability to lead platform as a product with a backlogged roadmap and SLAs.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure & Platform team with clear roles and standard work.
• Own performance, culture of ownership, flow, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and remove obstacles; coach problem-solving at the point of work.
• Mandate a single golden-path delivery pipeline adopted by all product teams.
• Operate the platform as a product with a backlog, roadmap, and service standards.
