Job summary

Extend is transforming post-purchase experiences with AI-powered solutions and a top-tier People team. We are seeking a Senior Manager or Director, People to partner with the VP of People and scale our organization in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead strategic People programs, mentor the team, and act as a trusted advisor to executives while moving between strategy and execution to improve employee experiences and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in people-focused roles at high-growth technology companies.
• Experience leading company-wide talent initiatives including performance management, compensation, organizational design, and leadership development.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills.
• Exceptional business judgment balancing employee advocacy with business needs.
• Strong project management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building programs from the ground up.
• Collaborative, low-ego approach with willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Proficient in HRIS data management, analytics and automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leaders on organizational design, workforce and succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
• Own systems and processes with a data-driven lens; optimize people processes with AI and automation.
• Develop and execute internal communications calendars for People programs to inform and engage across levels.
• Lead company-wide performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, and career development.
• Coach managers through employee relations, organizational change, and leadership challenges.
• Drive initiatives to improve engagement, learning and development, retention, and manager effectiveness.
