Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Director of Payor Contracting, Practice Integration & Transition Support to lead payor-facing contracting for newly acquired or affiliated practices. You will own contract negotiations in the critical first 90–180 days post-close and oversee transition activities to ensure seamless in-network status from day one.

This hybrid role blends payor negotiation, project management, and relationship leadership across RCA teams, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in payor contracting, managed care, or provider network management.
• Experience negotiating commercial, Medicare Advantage, and/or Medicaid MCO contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead payor contracting strategy for new practices across markets and payor types.
• Negotiate payor agreements (commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid) for acquired practices.
• Maintain payor contracting library with effective dates, fee schedules, and clauses.
• Own pre-close contract assessment and day-one network readiness within the integration playbook.
• Coordinate with revenue cycle, finance, and IT on payor-related matters during transition.
• Track milestones and report payor readiness to leadership.
