Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Director of Payor Contracting, Practice Integration & Transition Support to lead payor contracting for newly acquired practices, ensuring in-network status and favorable terms from day one. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of payor contracting or managed care experience.
• Direct experience negotiating commercial/Medicare/Medicaid contracts.
• Experience supporting multi-site healthcare acquisitions preferred.
• Strong contract negotiation and fee schedule analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiating payor agreements for new acquisitions to optimize reimbursement terms.
• Own payor contracting data and ensure accurate, auditable profiles across practices.
• Manage transition workstreams for network readiness and rate reconciliation post-close.
• Coordinate with internal teams on credentialing, revenue cycle, and IT to minimize disruption.
• Develop playbooks, templates, and checklists to standardize future payor contracting efforts.
