You will define structure, recruit leaders, and set tech and ops strategy across packaging, optics, and product engineering for GF's Integrated Optics portfolio.

The role demands deep packaging/optical expertise, OSAT management, and proven experience leading a global, multi-site team in a matrix environment, including the US and international

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
• 15+ years in semiconductor or photonics packaging and related areas.
• Proven ability to build or scale a technical organization and lead senior technical leaders.
• Deep expertise in advanced packaging and/or optical packaging.
• Experience managing OSAT partner relationships.

Aufgaben

• Own the technical strategy and roadmap for Optical Packaging Technology.
• Lead design and assembly architecture for optical/photonic modules.
• Drive yield enhancement and reliability strategies.
• Oversee packaging qualification and reliability plans.
• Direct optics roadmap for laser solutions and co-packaged optics.
• Guide product engineering investigations and FA methodology.
• Partner with Test engineering on strategy and qualification.
• Set requirements for external partners and review data.
• Evaluate advanced packaging technologies for roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Silicon Products Development for co-design.
