Job summary

Roche Holding AG seeks a Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) leader to drive strategic programs and hands-on lab-floor engagement. You will oversee facilities, security, and critical infrastructure while guiding a small team alongside leadership, scientists, and staff to maintain a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical/Life Sciences, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Professional certification (CSP/CIH/PE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate global directives and regulations into local site policies.
• Represent SHE on site leadership teams and committees.
• Oversee facilities engineering, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Lead disaster recovery frameworks and act as Incident Commander.
• Own a comprehensive SHE portfolio including biosafety and hazardous materials.
• Direct regulatory interactions, reporting and audits to ensure inspection readiness.
• Mentor a small team and cultivate a proactive safety culture.
