Job summary

You will oversee a high-complexity SHE portfolio, including biosafety, hazardous materials handling, and emergency response, while guiding a small team and interfacing with leadership, scientists, and facilities staff to maintain a safe, compliant research environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive operational leadership in life sciences or high-complexity industrial environments.
• 5+ years of direct people management leading cross-functional teams.
• Deep expertise in regulatory analysis, MOC, hazard identification, and safety/building code standards.
• Emergency response readiness with capability to command critical incidents and after-hours response.

Responsibilities

• Translate global directives, quality standards, and regulations into local site policies.
• Represent SHE on site leadership teams and committees to influence policy and align units.
• Oversee facilities engineering, capital projects, and ensure operational readiness of critical power systems.
