Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Homeland Security, Business, Fire Sciences, or related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive responsibility in public safety.
• Demonstrated leadership of first responders.
• Strong written and verbal communication; executive briefing skills.
• High EQ and political savvy for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain emergency management and safety procedures for a global life sciences environment.
• Lead crisis response efforts using NIMS and ICS frameworks.
• Manage life-safety systems, fire protection, and HazMat handling programs.
• Oversee on-site safety capabilities and external partnerships.
• Advise senior leadership during steady-state and crisis events.
• Lead a safety and security team with regulatory compliance.
