Job summary

Paradigm Search Group is seeking an experienced Director of Operations for a leading New Jersey plastic surgery and medical aesthetics practice. This senior role partners with physician ownership to drive strategic initiatives, financial performance, and scalable operations.

The ideal candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage budgets and KPIs, and implement efficient workflows that enhance profitability and patient experience.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare, plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, concierge medicine, or related
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, reporting, KPI management
• Proven ability to improve operational efficiency and performance
• Executive presence, discretion, and strong communication
• Proficiency with EMR and practice-management systems; ModMed preferred
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or healthcare management cert a plus

Responsibilities

• Partner with physician ownership to translate strategy into operational priorities and measurable goals
• Lead practice operations focusing on efficiency, profitability, and scalability
• Manage operating budgets, KPIs, reporting, expenses, and controls
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, profitability, and patient experience
• Develop and maintain SOPs and scalable operational systems
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team
• Establish performance expectations and a culture of accountability
• Oversee scheduling, workflow, payroll, vendors, inventory, and admin functions
• Use KPIs and data to drive improvements in organizational performance
• Serve as senior escalation point for operational and personnel matters
• Identify challenges and present thoughtful solutions to physician ownership
