Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in health insurance or related field.
• 5+ years underwriting experience within health insurance including Group Medicare, MA or Part D.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing underwriting teams.
• Strong underwriting principles, pricing methodologies and risk management.
• Strong financial acumen to analyze complex data and make recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence across stakeholders and executive levels.
• Experience presenting recommendations to leadership and clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Lead and develop multiple managers and underwriting professionals for Group Medicare Advantage and Part D.
• Drive underwriting strategies that balance growth, revenue, and profitability.
• Oversee complex new business and renewal opportunities across markets and regions.
• Ensure risk assessment, pricing accuracy, and policy adherence.
• Provide strategic guidance on high-profile cases and resolve underwriting challenges.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, Actuarial, and cross-functional teams.
• Build relationships with brokers, clients, and external partners.
• Represent Aetna in customer and market strategy discussions.
• Identify growth opportunities while minimizing risk.
• Lead strategic initiatives and communicate underwriting strategies to stakeholders.
• Foster a high-performing team culture through development and coaching.
