Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in the United States is seeking a Lead Director for the government services pharmacy business. You will lead a high-performing actuarial team, driving pricing, projections, and strategic decisions for large fully-insured portfolios, Medicare Advantage, and PDP programs.

The role requires 8+ years of actuarial/healthcare analytics, ASA or FSA, and strong leadership. You will mentor teams, collaborate with underwriting, product, and sales, and translate regulatory changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years actuarial or healthcare analytics experience.
• ASA or FSA credential required.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills for diverse audiences.
• Proven track record driving results through cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to apply analytical rigor and strategic thinking to complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team responsible for pricing, projections, reporting, and actuarial support for large fully-insured clients and the broader portfolio.
• Provide strategic support for the growing unbundled population (Medicare Advantage and PDP).
• Partner with Underwriting, Product, Sales, Account teams on large, complex opportunities and renewals.
• Collaborate with senior management on rate reviews and financial analyses.
• Translate regulatory changes into clear business implications for stakeholders.
• Oversee studies for assumptions, pricing models, and other analyses.
• Identify issues affecting financial results and propose data-driven solutions.
• Apply technical skills to solve complex business problems and deliver actionable solutions.
• Drive project ownership, manage priorities and deadlines across functions.
• Develop, coach, and mentor team members.
