Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director to lead a high-performing actuarial team supporting government services and fully-insured business. You will shape pricing, projections, and strategic decisions, partnering with underwriting, product, sales, and account teams to deliver insights across large clients and the unbundled population.

The role emphasizes translating regulatory changes into business implications, driving data-driven recommendations, and mentoring team members to enhance capability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years actuarial/healthcare analytics experience.
• ASA or FSA credential required.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills for a range of audiences.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and driving results.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing, projections, reporting, and actuarial support for large fully-insured clients and the broader portfolio.
• Provide strategic actuarial input for the growing unbundled population under Medicare Advantage and PDP.
• Partner with Underwriting, Product, Sales, and Account teams on large and complex opportunities and renewals.
• Translate legislative and regulatory changes into clear implications for internal stakeholders and employer groups.
• Oversee studies for assumption setting, pricing model development, and other analyses.
• Mentor and develop team members to strengthen capability and performance.
