Job summary

Teladoc Health is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering for Registration and Enrollment to lead strategy, vision, and execution of enrollment and eligibility platforms.

This leader ensures members can enroll, verify eligibility, and access benefits through scalable, reliable experiences while guiding multiple engineering teams and partnering with Product, Analytics, Data Science, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience leading organizations of 30+ engineers.
• Experience building and scaling registration, enrollment, benefits administration, or healthcare access platforms.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, platform architecture, and high-volume processing.
• Proven ability to translate business objectives into scalable technology solutions.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated project execution rigor and operational excellence.
• Travel: Up to 5% (2-3 times a year).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for Enrollment, Eligibility Verification, Benefits Access, and Member Activation.
• Define and execute the long-term technology strategy for enrollment and eligibility platforms.
• Drive onboarding experiences to maximize enrollment completion and activation rates.
• Partner with Product, Analytics, Data Science, Client Management, and Strategy teams to improve acquisition funnels.
• Ensure platform performance, reliability, data quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Establish architectural standards supporting future growth and evolving business needs.
• Provide leadership to Senior Managers across onshore and offshore delivery models.
• Maintain governance including roadmap execution, dependency management, risk mitigation, and executive communication.
• Mentor engineering leaders and promote accountability and collaboration.
