Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressively responsible fundraising experience required, including major and principal gifts.
• At least three years of staff management experience required.
• Experience in athletic fundraising or related area, annual giving programs, and complex higher education environment preferred.
• Familiarity with fundraising databases, moves management, and data-informed fundraising practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of comprehensive athletic fundraising programs: annual, major, principal, and planned giving.
• Manage a portfolio of major/principal gift prospects and donors; cultivate, solicit, and steward.
• Oversee staff: two full-time members and a graduate assistant; collaborate across University Advancement and Athletics.
• Set fundraising goals with Athletics leadership; align with division and university campaign plans.
• Coordinate donor engagement events with Athletics and University Advancement.
• Represent Fairfield University at athletic, academic, and donor events; ensure integrity and donor-centered service.
