Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program, reporting to the CISO. You will lead governance, risk management, secure adoption of AI technologies, and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization.

The role partners with Enterprise Architecture, Legal, Privacy, and Business Leaders to implement secure, responsible AI and to build a high-performing team of AI security architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field; additional master's preferred.
• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership roles.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML systems.
• 2+ years in cloud security configuration and management (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI Security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements for AI.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization, including hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to securely enable enterprise AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and regulatory developments.
