Job summary

Ryder seeks a Senior Director AI Security to lead and mature the enterprise AI Security program, reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer. You will shape strategy for securing AI technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and ML platforms, while enabling responsible innovation across the enterprise.

This role will recruit and lead a high-performing team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, collaborating with Legal, Privacy, Risk, and Business units to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Progressive cybersecurity leadership experience (10+ years).
• 3+ years in AI/ML security design and implementation.
• 2+ years cloud security configuration/management (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• 2+ years in security for AI/ML applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise AI Security strategy, governance, and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish AI security standards, policies, and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management including model governance and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization including hiring, budgeting, and planning.
• Collaborate with executives and business units to enable secure AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security reviews, and release security assessments for AI initiatives.
• Monitor AI threats and regulatory developments; adapt strategy.
