JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering within Consumer and Community Banking to lead multiple technical areas and guide cross-functional teams. You will drive the adoption of AI-native capabilities and oversee enterprise-grade software delivery across several departments.

You will influence senior leaders, manage large-scale initiatives, and ensure resilience, security, and efficiency in digital platforms for customers and businesses alike.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading large software engineering teams.
• Experience deploying agentic AI-enabled systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical strategy and delivery of a new digital insurance platform, embedding AI-native capabilities into core product experiences
• Directly manages multiple technology delivery streams and departments
• Sets and scales multi-department strategy for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation; establishes guardrails for security, resiliency, and reuse
• Applies enterprise SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to enable cross-domain reuse
• Acts as primary interface with senior leaders, driving alignment across objectives
• Manage multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
• Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology
