Job summary

ServiceTitan, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Data Science and Analytics to lead data science, product intelligence, and applied AI/ML across our operational core and finance analytics.

This player-coach role partners with operations and finance leaders to turn complex data into intelligent systems and measurable impact. You will set the technical direction, build and grow a data science team, and deliver high ROI projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science or applied AI/ML, with 5+ years leading teams.
• Proven track record influencing internal operational decisions based on ML systems (forecasts, lead scores).
• Fluency in SQL and Python; familiarity with modern data and AI stacks (cloud warehouses, dbt, LLM/agent deployment pipelines).
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into tractable AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own the data science and applied AI roadmap for operational and finance analytics.
• Build AI workflows that not only predict but act and improve unit economics.
• Lead and develop a data science and analytics team; set standards for technical rigor, evaluation, and production quality.
• Partner with operations and product leadership to frame problems and translate them into shipped AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with data engineering, ML engineering, and platform teams on infrastructure, data quality, orchestration, tooling, and guardrails.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders with business clarity.
• Champion an AI/agent-first approach and invent agentic systems that accelerate the team's work.
