Job summary

ServiceTitan is seeking a Director of Data Science for Operations to lead data science and applied AI across operational core and finance analytics. You will partner with operations and finance leadership to turn complex data into intelligent systems and measurable business impact, while hands-on delivering high ROI projects.

This is a player-coach role with latitude to invent high ROI AI projects; you’ll set technical direction and also contribute directly to delivery.

Qualifications

8+ years in data science or applied AI/ML.
5+ years leading and growing analytics teams.
Fluency in SQL and Python; familiarity with modern data and AI stacks.
Strong foundation in statistics and ML; depth in LLMs and agentic systems.
Proven ability to drive decisions through deep analysis.

Responsibilities

Own the data science and AI roadmap for G&A, operations, and finance analytics.
Lead and develop a data science and analytics team; set standards for rigor and production quality.
Partner with operations and product leadership to identify high-leverage problems and translate them into AI capabilities.
Oversee finance analytics supporting accounting, FP&A, and pricing.
Collaborate with data engineering and ML engineering on infrastructure and data quality.
Communicate findings to executive stakeholders with business clarity.
Champion an AI/agent-first approach within the team.
