Job summary

Blue Shield of California is seeking a Sr. Director for Strategic Planning and Performance (Network Strategy) to drive a multi-year roadmap for network design and provider partnerships.

You will act as the business owner for strategic initiatives and collaborate with LOB leaders to advance statewide, regional, and LOB-level strategies. We value leaders who foster high-performing teams, apply critical thinking, and drive affordability through strategic execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; 4+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree. MBA/MPH preferred.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience; 10+ years in provider or health plan settings; 15+ years preferred.
• 6+ years of people management experience with direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap for network design, optimization, and provider partnerships.
• Lead and develop a high-performing portfolio of strategic initiatives; partner with LOB leaders to align roadmaps.
• Serve as business owner for strategic and operational initiatives; contribute to affordability efforts.
