Blue Shield of California is seeking a Sr. Director of Provider Partnerships to lead strategic provider engagement across health systems, IPA/Medical Groups, and other priority partners.

This role reports to the Vice President Network Strategy and drives outcomes across affordability, quality, access, growth, and member experience. You will align internal functions, translate strategies into actionable initiatives, and build a high‑performing team focused on cost of care, regulatory compliance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or GED with 4 years of related experience
• Twelve years of relevant experience
• Six years of people management experience
• Deep expertise in provider models, contract structures, and market financial accountability (California)
• Executive provider engagement experience with multiple provider relationships
• Strong leadership with strategic thinking and cross‑functional collaboration

• Develop and execute multiyear regional partnership strategy aligned with enterprise priorities
