Job summary

Thorndale Partners seeks a Director of Operations to drive multi-site 3PL excellence, scale distribution networks, and maximize profitability. You will lead budgeting, talent development, and client onboarding with enterprise-level strategy and floor-level execution across Distribution Centers.

You will guide leadership teams, optimize fulfillment, and implement advanced analytics to sustain growth while ensuring client satisfaction and operational discipline in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of senior-level leadership managing complex warehousing, fulfillment, or logistics networks.
• Direct experience directing large-scale 3PL operations or high-volume pick-and-pack for premium brands.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally with a valid driver’s license.
• Comfort with physical inspection and distribution-center environments.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L and budgeting for multi-client fulfillment facilities across sites.
• Lead industrial engineering, labor planning, and facility optimization to beat SLAs.
• Drive continuous improvement with audits, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Manage ROI analyses for DC processes, automation, or WMS upgrades.
• Develop and mentor General Managers and DC Managers across locations.
