Job summary

Investment Company Institute (ICI) seeks a senior leader to direct membership strategy reporting to the COO. You will collaborate across the organization to develop and deliver membership communications, content, and engagement with asset management contacts to expand membership and strengthen relations.

You will lead recruitment, retention, and engagement efforts for current and prospective members. Based in Washington, DC, this hybrid role requires three days in the office and two days working

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 10 years of proven management experience with a trade association or equivalent with a for-profit organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead membership strategy while reporting to the COO.
• Develop programs for recruitment, retention, and engagement of members.
• Create communications and materials to increase member understanding of resources and value.
• Monitor the asset management industry to identify new membership targets.
• Build relationships with member firms to deepen engagement and strengthen partnerships.
• Oversee and implement the membership revenue model, including dues, forecasts, and segmentation.
• Manage engagement metrics dashboards and present data to leadership.
• Lead a high-performing Membership staff.
