Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Senior Director of Operations & Manufacturing to lead large, complex engagements across manufacturing and supply chain for private equity-backed portfolio companies. Open to all U.S.

locations, with a focus on delivering performance improvements and value creation. The role requires 15+ years of experience, strong leadership and analytical capabilities, and the ability to travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations and/or commercial roles.
• Effective communicator capable of engaging with PE leadership and portfolio companies.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess cost reduction and revenue opportunities.
• Proven leadership of teams and multi-stakeholder projects.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical leadership.
• Regular travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex engagements with PE leadership to design and implement improvement programs.
• Drive manufacturing and supply chain enhancements, including footprint and make/buy strategies.
• Develop and advance client relationships and proposals to secure engagements.
