Job summary

Cencora in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Director, Secure MA&D to own the enterprise cybersecurity strategy across the full transaction lifecycle, including pre-close due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and post-close integration.

You will lead a global team and partner with Corporate Development, Finance, and Legal to manage cyber risk affecting valuation, deal structure, closing conditions, and integration cost.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in cybersecurity, technology risk, or security consulting.
• 5+ years leading teams and enterprise-scale programs.
• Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity due diligence and integration across multiple transactions.
• Working fluency with deal mechanics and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, SOX, PCI DSS).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CCSP, or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Secure MA&D strategy, governance, and capability roadmap across acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and investments.
• Set governance, risk thresholds, and escalation criteria for deal-impacting findings and post-close remediation.
• Oversee pre-close due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and separation planning; manage budgets and third‑party partners.
• Translate security findings into valuation, timing, and operational impact for executive audiences including the Board.
• Direct organizational change to bring acquired entities onto enterprise security standards and TSA exit workflows.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
