Job summary

Cencora, a leader in healthcare logistics, seeks a Senior Director, Secure MA&D to own enterprise cybersecurity strategy across pre-close due diligence, Day 1 readiness, and post-close integration. You will guide governance, risk, and program ownership for acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs, partnering with Corporate Development and Legal.

You will lead a global team of security professionals, set performance standards, and govern a multiyear plan with budget ownership.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, or security consulting.
• 5+ years leading teams and enterprise-scale programs.
• Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity due diligence and integration across multiple completed transactions, including carve-outs or divestitures.
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, life sciences, or regulated industries experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Secure MA&D enterprise strategy, governance, and capability roadmap for acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and investments.
• Lead a global team of principals and analysts; set performance standards and succession plans and manage third-party diligence partners.
• Direct pre-close cybersecurity due diligence and Day 1 readiness; define protection, cost estimates, and remediation requirements for deals.
• Establish risk thresholds, governance, and reporting metrics; translate findings for executive audiences and the Board.
• Oversee change management and integration enablement to bring acquired entities onto enterprise security standards.
• Manage third-party vendors, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Corporate Development.
