Job summary

Inotiv is seeking a Business Development Director to lead territory sales for Discovery & Translational Sciences. You will meet clients, develop relationships across scientific and executive levels, and drive opportunities with Inotiv’s in vitro/in vivo pharmacology and related services.

You will collaborate with SMEs to position Inotiv as the preferred partner, while coordinating with internal teams to deliver proposals, contracts, and successful outcomes. Travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS/BA/MS degree in related science or business.
• Field sales experience in the CRO industry or related sector is preferred.
• Highly developed communication skills (written & verbal).
• Ability to work independently with good organizational skills.
• CRM experience with SalesForce or HubSpot.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory plans to reach strategic goals.
• Develop and qualify leads from marketing or prospecting activities.
• Attend industry meetings and meet clients face-to-face.
• Build relationships at scientific and executive levels.
• Coordinate internal teams to support client requests and proposals.
• Provide territory updates and market data for planning.
