Job summary

Vector Talent is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Business Development for a private equity backed CDMO. You will drive new business, oversee the full sales cycle, and work with the CCO to shape market strategy and partnerships.

You will coordinate with operations, program management, and finance to ensure client commitments are met, traveling 30-50% to client meetings and industry events. A biology/chemistry background is required; MS/MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in client-facing sales or business development within CDMO or life sciences.
• Knowledge of drug development processes and contract manufacturing services.
• University degree in biology/chemistry; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business: 100% new logo hunting, identify, prospect and close contracts.
• Lead full sales cycle from initial contact and RFP responses to negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with the CCO to refine market positioning and strategic partnerships.
• Coordinate with operations, program management and finance to fulfill client commitments.
