Job summary

Jobot seeks a Senior Manager or Director of Business Development for a growing CDMO client to drive new business and manage strategic accounts across biologics and sterile injectable manufacturing. You will own the full commercial cycle, from prospecting to contract close, and serve as the primary contact for key accounts.

The role requires deep CDMO business development experience, the ability to engage cross-functional teams, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in CDMO/biologics/pharma manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to close complex technical sales cycles.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, supply agreements, SOWs, or change orders.
• Strong technical fluency to engage operations, quality, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop new opportunities across biologics and/or sterile injectable CDMO services.
• Manage the sales pipeline from outreach to contract close.
• Grow existing strategic accounts and identify expansion opportunities.
• Lead proposals and negotiations for MSAs, Supply Agreements, SOWs, changes.
• Represent the organization’s drug substance and drug product capabilities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Program Management, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
• Meet revenue targets and maintain pipeline forecasts.
• Support transition from contract close to onboarding and execution.
• Monitor CDMO market trends and customer procurement activity.
