Nationwide is seeking a Senior Director for the Life-Focused Advanced Consulting Group to shape strategy, build talent, and influence high-impact life insurance cases across our distribution ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technical excellence, and thought leadership, driving outcomes for financial professionals and clients while growing a best-in-class consulting organization.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 6 and 26 license required within 120 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree; Juris Doctorate, with focus in tax and estate planning and/or business planning.
• Experience leading high-performing consulting or advanced sales teams.
• Proven ability to lead credentialed, high-performing teams and manage sophisticated tax and regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead Life ACG strategy and execution across Life channels.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex life cases; provide consultative case design and product positioning.
• Oversee Life distribution interactions and refine the Life engagement model for high-quality partner experiences.
• Develop thought leadership; deliver main-stage presentations and CE/CPE-eligible content; collaborate with Marketing/Sales on sales plays.
• Own governance, risk, and performance metrics across Life ACG activities; improve processes.
