Nationwide is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Life-Focused Advanced Consulting Group, shaping strategy across Life distribution channels and driving high-impact life insurance initiatives. You will mentor top consultants, partner with Sales and Marketing, and oversee governance and analytics to improve outcomes for financial professionals and clients.

This fully remote role allows possible in-person collaboration in Columbus, OH, Des Moines, IA or Scottsdale, AZ.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in advanced life insurance planning and high-net-worth or institutional cases.
• Proven leadership at scale with consulting or advanced sales teams.
• Strong influence and executive presence with senior distribution leaders and external professionals.
• Thought leadership and teaching excellence with experience presenting sophisticated concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead Life ACG strategy and execution across all Life distribution channels.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex, high-value life cases and provide consultative design support.
• Oversee and refine the Life interaction model to ensure seamless partner experiences.
• Develop marketing and sales materials to expand advanced product concepts and sales plays.
• Own governance, metrics, controls, and continuous process improvements across Life ACG.
• Mentor and develop technical talent, fostering an inclusive culture and leadership pipeline.
• Leverage data, technology, and AI to modernize casework and enhance client outcomes.
