The role is fully remote across 48 states, with emphasis on coaching, strategic growth, and collaboration with Sales, Reinsurance, and Operations to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years life underwriting experience.
• More than 5 years of formal leadership experience.
• Experience in a BGA, brokerage, producer group, or similar relationship-driven life insurance environment.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees team roles; builds a high-engagement culture.
• Sponsors major projects; guides relationship management with internal and external partners.
• Hires and develops underwriting talent; performance management and career development.
• Owns service relationships requiring high technical expertise; partners with Sales to ensure client satisfaction and drive opportunities.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, budgeting, and process improvements; supports audits and regulatory changes.
