Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a seasoned head of IT Infrastructure to own global technology services.

You will lead architecture, cybersecurity operations, end-user services, and ITSM within one integrated scope, partnering with a fractional CISO and aligning with R&D and the scientific organization. You will manage a hybrid team of internal staff and MSPs, set standards, and drive vendor management as the scope grows, delivering secure, reliable infrastructure in a fast-moving biotech

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive technology services leadership, including 5+ years at the Director or Senior Director level.
Direct experience leading multi-function technology services (infrastructure, cyber operations, and ITSM) as one integrated scope.
Experience with partnering with a CISO on policy while owning operational execution.

Responsibilities

Consolidate MSP portfolio across infrastructure, security, and help desk into a smaller, more accountable set of partners.
Build a cybersecurity operations function from current contractor and MDR coverage.
Establish governance with research and scientific computing, align research infrastructure with IT, inventory and remediate AWS systems (ParallelCluster, HPC, SageMaker, EKS, ECS).
Own identity and access management program with clean handoffs to IT ops and business partners.
Refresh service experience end to end and elevate vendor management discipline as scope grows.
